Ad-unit Guide.

A visual reference for DML's ad units — what each one is, and exactly where it appears across the Collection and the article Viewer.

The ad-units

DML serves four ad units. One is a bundle of three creatives that spans the Collection and the Viewer; the other three are single placements within an article.

Collection Universal
A single ad unit made of three separate creatives: a Sponsor Logo 120×20, a Sponsored Content Card, and a Right Rail 300×250.

In the Collection

On a collection page, two of the three Collection Universal creatives appear: the Sponsor Logo beside "Presented By," and the Sponsored Content Card in the grid.

Collection Universal (1/3 & 2/3) — the Sponsor Logo 120×20 and the Sponsored Content Card.

In the Viewer

Inside the article viewer, readers see the remaining placements — the third Collection Universal creative plus the three in-article units.

TOAP728×90 at the top of the article, and the Right Rail 300×250 — Collection Universal (3/3) — in the sidebar.
MOAP 300×250 — placed partway down the article.
BOAP 728×90 — the banner at the end of the article.
Together, the three Collection Universal creatives — Sponsor Logo, Sponsored Content Card, and Right Rail — make up one unit sold as a package.
